Filter Coffee: Where do Aquaspresso’s blends come from?
Filter coffee is becoming the popular kid at school. It’s a proper, high-quality coffee, it’s easy as pie to use – and it makes a whole lot of coffee at once. Many schools, restaurants, offices and canteens have started to use this type of coffee in replacement of their age-old kettle coffee. Now, you might notice that different coffee origins, blends and brands all have a different underlying taste. We divulge our coffee bean origins to set your curious mind at ease. We also know that our blend is not right for everyone; if you’re accustomed to regular instant coffee flavours, or if you prefer an exceptionally light roast – our blend might not meet your taste. And there’s nothing wrong with that! If you’re ready to taste the world in s small tin foil packet though, you’re in for a treat.
Where do the Coffee Beans come from?
Coffee bean origin can have a huge impact on the flavour and aroma of the coffee. We make use of imported coffee beans from selected regions worldwide. Why do we import? So that we can assure consistency in our coffee products year-round. Yes, it might be nice to get a select once-off coffee bean harvest from somewhere exotic, but if we can’t maintain that standard – we believe it’s best to give it a skip. All coffee sourced, produced and distributed by us is Kosher, Halaal, Fair Trade, Organic and all sustainably farmed and procured. So, short of the coffee having a physical quality stamp, and our belief that there is always room for improvement – we’re in some good standing for a trustworthy and reliable source of guilt-free, premium coffee 🙂
What food safety grade does our coffee carry?
We can proudly say that our coffee carries and FSSC22000 grading – the highest possible food safety accreditation available at present.

So, which is the BEST? The best is relative! I’d always suggest sampling each of the blends to find what fits your flavour preference first.
Just because a coffee blend comes from a good region doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll enjoy it; in short – the best coffee is the one that makes you smile.
